Cherokee Homeschool Hoops

The UniqueExperience

Homeschool Hoops was founded to give homeschool kids a chance to get better at basketball in a positive yet competitive environment.

We work with boys (and girls in our younger group) at all skill levels and create a unique blend of development and competition. Players learn the game and get a ton of live play experience.

The Mission

Development. Competition. Fun.

The Process

How It Works

Our structured 10-week season is designed to maximize player development while providing authentic competitive experience. Every player gets meaningful playing time.

01

Skill Development

The first two weeks focus purely on skill development and scrimmages, letting us assess all players.

02

Team Formation

In week three, we create balanced 4-player teams based on skill level for fair competition.

03

3v3 Competition

Games are 3v3 (with a sub on each team), ensuring more touches and opportunities for each player.

04

Playoff Tournament

The season culminates in an exciting playoff tournament during the final week.

Different Levels, One Group

We intentionally balance teams based on skill. This ensures that teams are fair and all kids play a valuable role. More experienced players guard each other while newer players are not overwhelmed.

Less is More

We limit our season to 16 players per group. This ensures maximum time for each player and allows our coaches to provide customized feedback. Smaller numbers mean more attention.

Success Stories
"

Amos started training with Justin a little over a year ago. He had never played basketball before. Justin's combination of skill work and live play has completely changed Amos' basketball trajectory. He went from being a kid who rarely got the ball in his CYB season to a kid who scores consistently and continues to fall in love with basketball.
