Elementary / 6th Grade
Three registration options across two age groups. Every session combines focused drills with live play — and after a few weeks we form official teams and compete for a championship with a mix of 3v3 and full-court games.
The season runs the last week of August through the first week of November, with fall break week off.
Younger Elementary Co-Ed — 8-ft Goals
Wednesdays 9:30 – 11:00 AM, beginning August 26
Older Elementary / 6th Grade — 10-ft Goals (Wednesday)
Wednesdays 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, beginning August 26
Older Elementary / 6th Grade — 10-ft Goals (Friday)
Fridays 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, beginning August 28
Season Two begins in late August and ends the first week of November, with a one-week break the week of Sept 21 coinciding with Cherokee County School Break.

Homeschool Hoops was founded to give homeschool kids a chance to get better at basketball in a positive yet competitive environment that includes prayer and character development.
We work with boys (and girls in our younger group) at all skill levels and create a unique blend of development and competition. Every session combines drills with live play, and after a few weeks we form official teams and compete for a championship through a mix of 3v3 and full-court games.

Teams play a combination of 3v3 and full-court games, giving players a variety of competitive experiences.
Compete for a Championship
The season builds toward official team competition and a championship during the final weeks.
Different Levels, One Group
We intentionally balance teams based on skill. This ensures that teams are fair and all kids play a valuable role. More experienced players guard each other while newer players are not overwhelmed.
More Than Basketball
We emphasize development and competition in a positive environment that includes prayer and character development. Players grow on the court and off it.
3 Registration
Options
Choose the group that fits your child best. Younger Elementary meets Wednesday mornings on 8-ft goals. Older Elementary / 6th Grade meets Wednesday or Friday mornings on 10-ft goals. Every option is $300 for the season — just $30/week — and includes a reversible jersey. The season runs the last week of August through the first week of November, with fall break week off.
Younger Elementary Co-Ed
Typically 2nd & 3rd graders, though a child who is a little older or younger may be a great fit depending on their level and development. Heavy emphasis on learning how to play — a mix of development and live play with rules that scale up as the season progresses.

Typically 4th–6th grade. Heavy emphasis on development and competitive play on 10-foot goals. A mix of 3v3 and full-court games, with teams balanced by skill level so every player is matched up fairly.

Amos started training with Justin a little over a year ago. He had never played basketball before. Justin's combination of skill work and live play has completely changed Amos' basketball trajectory. He went from being a kid who rarely got the ball in his CYB season to a kid who scores consistently and continues to fall in love with basketball.

Coach Justin
Cherokee Homeschool Hoops is run by Justin McTeer. Justin is the lead pastor of His Hands Church in Woodstock. He's also been a basketball trainer in Cherokee County for many years and runs one of the most elite high school travel basketball programs in the county, the Atlanta Standard.
Justin and his wife Megan have homeschooled their kids for years, and Justin has specialized in training and developing homeschool players so that they do not fall behind the public school kids in their athletic development.
